Roi Et Peoject 2026

23 Feb 2026

In 2026, we visited schools in Roi Et Province from 23–27 February 2026, to learn about the students' living conditions and the schools' needs. Roi Et is located in the northeastern region of Thailand and has many small schools that provide education from kindergarten to primary level. Many of these schools still lack learning equipment and basic facilities. During our visit, we found that many students come from low-income families. Many of them live with their grandparents, while their parents work as farmers, gardeners, or daily workers. Because of their limited income, many families cannot fully support their children's education and daily needs.
After the survey, we selected 14 schools in four districts of Roi Et Province: Mueang, Kaset Wisai, Suvarnabhumi, and Selaphum to receive support. A total of 1,195 students benefited from the project. From 22–26 June 2026, we returned to Roi Et to deliver support based on each school's needs. Our support focused on three areas: education, nutrition, and hygiene. We donated computers, televisions, playground equipment, water cooler, study desks, and other useful items. We also provided support to repair school facilities, including toothbrushing sinks, installing steel mesh around the canteen, and the ceiling repair helping to create a safer environment for students.
This project aimed to improve schools in the areas of education, nutrition, and hygiene, while giving students better opportunities to learn in a safe and supportive environment and helping improve their quality of life.
