Day Care Nakharaphiban Hospital, Bangkok 2026

20 May 2026

The 2026 Day Care Nakharaphiban Hospital Support Project was established to enhance health standards and the learning environment for toddlers in the Lat Krabang District, Bangkok. Following an initial needs assessment conducted on April 30, 2026, our team identified several critical resource gaps within the facility. The mission culminated in a formal delivery and handover of essential equipment on May 20, 2026. The daycare center, which has been in operation since 2023, serves as a vital resource for busy working parents and local families.
The assessment revealed that despite being part of a government hospital, the department operates with limited support and is currently housed in an aging facility. Key challenges included a lack of modern medical screening tools to prevent the spread of illness and the deterioration of physical development equipment, such as worn out floor mats that posed potential safety risks to children. To address these needs directly, the project focused on two primary pillars. For hygiene and medical welfare, we provided high-quality medical devices, including digital thermometers, oxygen saturation monitors, and stand-mounted sensor hand sanitizer dispensers, to facilitate professional health monitoring. For environmental and developmental support, the team delivered ten sets of new cushions and mats to replace dilapidated items, providing a safer and more hygienic space for children to engage in physical activities and muscle training.
These collective efforts have successfully transformed immediate challenges into opportunities for better care, bringing sustainable smiles to both the children and the dedicated staff at Nakharaphiban Hospital. These resources will serve as a foundation for student wellbeing as the center continues its mission of nurturing the next generation.
