Dindang Housing Community is a big flat community in Bangkok. They have a population of around 32,000 people that live in 94 buildings with 9,242 units. Each family is together in a limited space. The congestion causes the spread of COVID-19 quickly. From the inquiries from the Din Daeng District Office, it was found that A total of 5,436 vulnerable people live in the community (disabilities, the elderly, the unemployed, the stateless, etc.), Moreover, they also have 189 COVID-19 cases, 56 households, and 3,500 at-risk people who are currently quarantined in residential buildings. Act Now will be able to help 8,936 vulnerable and difficult people, and the rest of the supply will be used to support up to 2,400 other people living in the same community, which is also having a difficult time. So, this project could help and support 11,320 people Din Daeng 2 community.
On May 31, 2022, Act Now team went to deliver supplies to the vulnerable people who are having difficult times during the COVID-19 crisis. We provided canned fish, instant noodles, and rice for nutrition supplies and disinfectant solution, ATK, for hygiene supplies.
