This photo is from our "Saving Life Project" for children suffering from chronic disease. The project provided lifesaving medicine for 150 children suffering from malnutrition and chronic diseases in Shabwah, Yemen.
Act Now anticipates that the overall situation in Yemen will continue to decline in the coming years, which will require Act Now’s commitment to support the children in Yemen. In addition to continuing Act Now’s work with the rural hospitals and health clinics, we plan to expand our project outreach to address the growing rates of malnutrition and the lack of access to clean water. Act Now will focus on the newly established IDP camps, where children have limited access to healthcare, nutrition, and education.
