On 7 May 2020 at 2.00 PM, Act Now was cordially welcomed by Dr. Porametee Vimolsiri, Permanent Secretary for Social Development and Human Security on the occasion of the handing over ceremony for donation supplies at Donation Center of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security to provide aid to 286 communities in Bangkok and those who are affected by COVID-19 crisis. The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security initiated the community project “We will not leave one another” by providing aid to 286 communities in Bangkok, bringing together members of each community to ensure support reaches all households.
We provided budget to support nutrition supplies and hygiene supplies to approximately 3,000 people living in the selective communities including toddlers, bedridden patients, and paupers, each of which require special need and care. For 500 toddlers, we donated 72 boxes of powdered milk. For 500 elderly and bedridden patients, we donated 360 packs of incontinence bed pads. And for 2,500 paupers, we donated 5,000 cans of canned fish for basic consumable supplies. The donation supplies will be distributed to people afterward.
