Chumphon province is located in the Southern part of Thailand. Chumphon is regarded as part of “Gateway to the South”. The climate of Chumphon is similar to other provinces in the Southern region that there is more rainy season than other seasons and sometimes with the monsoon. This project is the first time that Act Now has provided assistance to the province in the southern of Thailand. We supported 14 schools in districts (Lang Suan, Sawi, Tha Sae, and Mueng Chumphon).
This project consists of 1,561 students and many of them still face a lack of essential school supplies. We distributed all the supplies to each school during March 25-29, 2024. We mostly support them with the budget to renovate the construction such as toilets, classrooms, library, etc. We also support the playground and some instruction media and canteen table set to improve their learning and hygiene.
