Camillian Home for Children Living with Disabilities is a registered charitable organization operating on behalf of the St. Camillo Foundation of Thailand. They focus on disabled children who need opportunity and support, providing services and care for children with all types of disabilities free of charge. They have full-time staff such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, teachers, and caregivers to stimulate the children mentally and physically. Their target audience is children with disabilities who lack opportunities and need help. Camillian Home take care of 155 disability children from the age of 4 – 35 years old, which 30 of them are orphans that live at the center and the rest of them just come with their parents on weekdays. The center provides rehabilitation care for children with disabilities in all aspects such as physical therapy, music therapy, healthcare services, art therapy, practice self-care skills in everyday life, and round-trip transportation for children.
On May 21, 2024, Act Now team travel traveled to Camillian Home in Lat Krabang district to distribute all the supplies. We supported them with 20 boxes of diapers both adult and children size for everyday use. Moreover, we provided 14 boxes of medical food (Ensure) for bed-ridden children with tube-feeding.
