On November 14, 2025, we visited the Bandek Aon Foundation in the Seua Yai Slum, where we were warmly welcomed and briefed by the staff. The foundation provides care for 94 children aged 3 months to 5 years from low-income families, with 23 staff members working from Monday to Friday, 08:00 A.M. to 04:00 P.M. When the children reach the age of five, they enter the Thai education system, and the foundation continues to monitor their well-being on an ongoing basis.
Overall, the foundation is well supplied with basic necessities through financial support and donations, such as food and various supplies. The facility is safe and suitable for children. However, it still lacks some essential items, including appropriate developmental toys, baby floor mats to prevent injuries from falls, and folder, well-organized file folders for children’s records. These items are important for supporting children’s development, ensuring their safety, and securing their future education, while also helping to reduce the staff’s workload.
Subsequently, on December 11, 2025, items matching the foundation’s needs were delivered, including developmental toys, baby floor mats, and file folders. The foundation’s director expressed sincere appreciation to the Act Now team for providing well-targeted and appropriate support.
