On Friday 15 May 2020, Act Now Children’s Fund has donated rice and UHT-milks to The Sangsandek Foundation that has been operating throughout the COVID-19 Crisis. Sangsandek Foundation was an organization that aims to support the underprivileged children including street children, children in construction worker camp, orphans, abused children, children affected by AIDS. In the Covid-19 crisis, Sangsandek Foundation had the project to support the underprivileged people that were affected by Covid19.
They have fulfilled a promise to distribute all supplies for the 1000 families in the Bangkok area. They supported by providing nutrition supplies such as rice, survival bags, canned fish, etc. They aim to help the people in 3 groups. The first group, they supported the street children in Bonkai Community, Community under the Sukhumvit Expressway, Premruethai Community, and Phetburi Community. The second group supported the homeless in the Sukhumvit road area, Ramintra road area, Silom road area, and Victory monument area. In the last group, they supported children in construction worker camp. All supplies that we supported them would help many children had a good life. We were proud to be part of a wonderful project.
